Scholarship Program
The University shall develop and sustain scholarship programs on the
following categories:
I. Entrance Scholarships
This shall be granted to students who have distinguished themselves as valedictorians and salutatorians in recognized government and private high schools from any pad of the country. This is designed to attract quality students and enhance the quality of entering freshman students. This scholarship is in the form of exemption or discount in the payment of token fees, as follows:

For valedictorians from duly established public or private high schools, full exemption during the first semester of their first year.

For salutatorians from duly established public or private high schools, partial exemption (50% discount) during the first semester of their first year.
As a mattered policy, Valedictorians and Salutatorians are also exempted from taking the UMAK College Entrance Examination
II. Resident Scholarships
Resident Scholarships in the form of full exemption from token fees are available to students as follows:

Dean's Lister (with minimum load requirement of your program, no grade of 2.0 or lower, must have a GWA of 1.0-1.25)

Bigay Pagmamahal Foundation Scholars

SK Chairman/Kagawad of Makati/Barangay Officials

DOST Scholar

Indigenous Cultural Community Member

Executive Board of the Supreme Student Government

Editorial Board of the Makati Collegian

UMAK Chorale

UMAK Employees (regardless of status)

Dependent of UMAK regular employees
III. Government and Private Scholarship
Scholarship granted by Government and Private organization through enabling laws from the local and national government shall be recognized. The token fees as well as the stipends, if provided, are to be paid by private donor institutions or the government as the case may be. The scholarship programs that fall under this category are:

IV. Special University Scholarship
This special scholarship shall be granted to students with outstanding performance in the fields of athletics, culture and arts, and in competitions and other meritorious activities that brings honor and prestige to the University. The University shall recognize and consider for scholarship active members in the following areas:
