Philosophy

University of Makati was established to serve as a primary instrument in educating and training morally upright, self-reliant and community oriented citizens of Makati City. This is to ensure that those who have less in life will have the privilege of having equal access to quality tertiary education and skills training because the City of Makati can afford and is willing to provide priority funding support.

Through relevant curriculum delivered by a core of professional faculty, University of Makati develops competent and computer literate graduates who can respond to the need of the Makati business community and the Philippine economy as it becomes globally competitive toward the new millennium.

The University of Makati is fully dedicated to training and molding the youth so that they can assume active leadership in their chosen fields of specialization.

Relative thereto, the city government, the school administrators, faculty members, and the non-teaching personnel collectively bind themselves in leading the students to live in accordance with the University vision, mission, goals and objectives.
