Academic Requirements

Academic Load of Students

Undergraduate Students

18 non-lab units or 21 maximum units including laboratory except in courses where the normal semestral load is more than 18 units.

Minimum Load

The minimum load is 15 units for undergraduate courses. A student, who for justifiable causes, wishes to have an underload below 15 units should secure permission from his Dean.

Lighter Academic Load

The following are justifiable reasons for reducing academic loads:

1. For health reasons with medical certification to be confirmed by the University Health Service.

2. For employment with copies of appointment papers from the company indicating the duration of employment.

3. For unavailability of courses with certification from the College Secretary and copy of the schedule of classes.
